New Sanders Award in Public Philosophy

phimpWe are delighted to announce a new Sanders Award in the area of Public Philosophy. Beginning in 2016, this essay prize will offer a $4500 reward as well as publication in Philosophers’ Imprint.

The Award Committee is Chaired by Susan Wolf, Edna J. Koury Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at UNC Chapel Hill. The other committee members are Patricia O’Toole, Professor of Literary Nonfiction at Columbia University School of the Arts and Pulitzer Prize finalist, Thomas Hofweber, Professor of Philosophy at UNC Chapel Hill, and Barry Maguire, Research Assistant Professor at UNC Chapel Hill.
